Guru Puja is a traditional ceremony connecting & expressing gratitude to the lineage of spiritual Masters. 'Puja' is a sanskrit word that means fullness.
The Guru Puja course is conducted in two phases. In Guru Puja phase 1, participants are introduced to the lineage of spiritual Masters. They explore the mysteries of Vedic tradition, learn to chant the Guru Puja in Sanskrit and understand its meaning. The program days are filled with vibrant Guru stories and ancient knowledge. Chanting the Guru Puja unites our minds with the tradition of Spiritual Masters.
NOTE 1: Please do NOT register for Vigyan Bhairav if you are registering for Guru Puja 1
Since Guru Puja 1 starts on the same dates as Vigyan Bhairav, participants of Guru Puja 1 will NOT be able to attend Vigyan Bhairav.
NOTE 2: Guru Puja 1 will be moved from one venue to another to ensure that you are in the same venue as Gurudev during the course.

Guru Puja is a traditional ceremony expressing gratitude to the lineage of spiritual Masters. 'Puja' is a sanskrit word that means fullness.
The Guru Puja course is conducted in two phases. In Guru Puja phase 2, participants learn the ‘vidhi’ (ability to perform) the Guru Puja along with the meaning and symbolism behind each of the offerings. One experiences divinity through the melodious chants and performance of Guru Puja.
This program brings the qualification necessary to invoke the lineage of Spiritual Masters through the Puja chants and performance of the traditional Puja ceremony through offerings.

What is Vigyan Bhairav?
Vigyan Bhairav is a remarkable ancient text that describes 112 techniques to tap into the infinite dimension within our self. Vigyan Bhairav is the science of consciousness that connects us with this universal power in a palpable way. However, the cryptic nature of the text requires the guidance of a Master -- to open doors to an expanded reality and our higher states of consciousness.
A two-day immersion program
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar leads us into an immersive journey where discovery and transformation are possible as he skillfully unravels this age-old text.
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a global peace ambassador and spiritual master. He comes from a lineage of Masters of an ancient tradition and is one of the foremost exponents of meditation today.
Why attend?
We were born with an unlimited reservoir of power within us — a source of infinite energy, intelligence and creativity — that when accessed can strengthen our life at its core and in its entirety.

The journey begins with experiencing infinity during Vigyan Bhairav with Gurudev. It is followed by contemplation & soaking in deep silence during advanced meditations in the scenic surroundings of the Bay Area. And culminates into a grand celebration during Guru Purnima in the presence of Gurudev himself.
This will be the most complete experience with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar during Guru Purnima 2018 in California.

Guru Purnima is the new year for the spiritual seeker. It is the day when the disciple wakes up in his fullness and in the wakefulness he can’t be but grateful. This gratitude is not of dwaita (you and me), but of advaita. It is not a river moving from somewhere to somewhere, but is the ocean moving within itself. So, gratefulness on Guru Purnima symbolizes that fullness.
